Our specialty? Accelerated flight training, taking you from novice to commercial pilot in just 5 to 6 months. How do we do it? With in-house maintenance ensuring our planes are always ready for takeoff, and a student-to-instructor ratio of 2:1, guaranteeing you personalized attention and daily flight time. Plus, with one aircraft for every six students, the skies are yours to conquer.

But that's not all. We're all about practice, which is why we provide unlimited access to our simulators, 24/7. Whether you're with an instructor or flying solo, you can sharpen your skills whenever inspiration strikes.

Located in Long Beach, amidst the world's busiest airspace, we're just 15 nautical miles away from limitless training opportunities. Daily flights over LAX airport and Class Bravo airspace? It's not just a dream—it's your reality here.

PILOT CERTIFICATES AND RATINGS

1. Airman offers training toward the issuance of the following FAA pilot certificates and ratings:
   1. Private Pilot Certificate
   2. Instrument Rating
   3. Multi-Engine Commercial Pilot Certificate
   4. Single-Engine Commercial Pilot Certificate

1. Airman operates a well maintained fleet of aircraft as follows:
   1. 1 Seneca I (Multi Engine Aircraft)
   2. 1 Cessna 172 SP G1000
   3. 4 Cessna 172 SP 
   4. 4 Cessna 172 (M,E,N,H)
   5. 9 Cessna 152 
   6. 2 Redbird (FAA Approved) full motion + Stationary simulator

REGISTERING FOR FLIGHT COURSES

1. Fill out i 20 / Application form 
2. Pay for i20 Fees
3. Sign the course package
4. Got your visa Email admin@flyairman.us cc india@flyairman.us requesting your 1'st installment Invoice. If you like to have accommodation go ahead email india@flyairman.us  (Accommodation is optional)
5. Apply for TSA Transportation Security Agency (TSA) Approval

              6. Apply For FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) Medical 

              7. Ready to Depart for USA Fill out the arrival form 

DRESS CODE

Students taking Pilot training course with the Airman Flight Training are expected to come to class dressed in a manner consistent with The Pilot way. Additionally, Airman students must comply with additional grooming standards when on the premises of the airport campus. Generally, the standard requires pilot shirts with collars, clean black pants with black shoes, and prohibits the wearing of jeans and shorts.

TRANSPORTATION 

Most of our accommodation is within just around 2 to 3 miles radius. Long beach has state of the art Public transport available for only $65 per month. Students can also buy a manual, electric or motor bike and come to flight school easily. One could also buy a car ranging around 8 to 10 thousand dollars and sell it after they finish their course.

MENTORING PROGRAM

Airman has a strong mentoring culture that is foundational to our learning environment. One of the many ways we continue to nurture this culture is by pairing fresh students with those seniors who have completed licenses.

SIM CLUBS

1. All students are welcome to join and participate in or Sim club. Where they have unlimited access to our simulator, practice maneuvers when ever they like to make their training more efficient. Why chair fly when you can practice and increase your skills and proficiency in a modern FAA certified simulator? Save money and time getting your licenses at any level. Feel more confident flying to an unknown destination, or one you have not been to in a while, by safely practicing the flight first in our Redbird. Reduce the cost of your next license. 
2. Can’t remember VFR or IFR procedures? Practice them at less than half the cost of the real plane. Simulate bad weather and failures, in all safety, and feel what could really happen, while learning how to get out of trouble. Muscle Memory Heaven! 
3. Next time before you go flying for a lesson, ask your instructor to fly the mission in the simulator first, and see the difference it makes in your performance. Don't worry about the hourly cost of the simulator use it when ever you like for as long as you need, anytime you want.

During your training at Airman, you will soon realize the importance of checklist usage. To confirm that you have completed all that is required before you arrive for classes, we have added this final checklist for you to complete.

• Complete the I20 Application
• Obtain an FAA First Class Medical Certificate 
• Obtain a Valid Passport 
• Complete the TSA Application / Clearance
• Complete your Flight Schedule Pro Registration
• Secure Medical Insurance Compulsory 
• Get your uniform ready
• Secure Your accommodation
• Secure pick up from airport, fill up arrival form.
• Secure Your Own Transportation for your Flight Training
