At Airman Flight Training, we understand the importance of efficiently building flight hours to advance your aviation career. Our Accelerated Time Building Program, based at Chino Airport in California, offers a structured and cost-effective approach to help you achieve your flight time goals.
Program Overview
We provide access to well-maintained Cessna 152 and Cessna 172 aircraft, ensuring a balance between affordability and performance. Our program is designed to facilitate 8 to 10 hours of flight time daily on a shared basis, allowing you to accumulate hours rapidly. For those preferring solo flights, we offer that option at double the shared rate.
Why wait to achieve your aviation career goals? With the high demand for qualified pilots, building your hours and securing your place in the airline industry has never been more critical. We understand the hurdles many face in accumulating the required hours to join the airlines, and we’ve designed a streamlined solution that lets you focus solely on flying.
Why Choose Financing for Time Building?
Imagine earning six figures as a commercial airline pilot sooner rather than later. Waiting to build hours slowly or working odd jobs for years delays your path to the cockpit. Instead, we offer 100% financing through Stratus Financial, a trusted partner that understands the unique needs of aspiring pilots.
Here’s How Our Financing Program Accelerates Your Career:

Shared flying is a practical method to build flight hours while sharing costs with fellow pilots. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) permits cost-sharing under specific conditions:
• Pro Rata Share: According to 14 CFR § 61.113(c), a private pilot may not pay less than their pro rata share of operating expenses, which include fuel, oil, airport expenditures, or rental fees.
• Common Purpose: The pilot and passengers must have a common purpose for the flight beyond merely building flight time.
• No Compensation: Pilots cannot receive compensation for these flights; the cost-sharing must strictly adhere to the pro rata share rule.
For detailed guidance, refer to the FAA’s Advisory Circular AC 61-142, which outlines the regulations on sharing aircraft operating expenses. (Federal Aviation Administration)
